Annual Gathering Can Answer Debt Questions
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS—If you don’t want to become a victim of debt, then the Altamonte Springs campus of Seminole State College has an event for you.
The “Night of the Living Debt” event is expected to draw hundreds of students. It will be held on the outside grass area of the Altamonte campus Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sponsored by the Office of Student Life at Altamonte Springs, the annual event is billed as an opportunity for students to learn how to decrease debt, apply for scholarships and seek career opportunities, among others.
If that’s not enough to bring someone out on the eve of Halloween, there will be free nitrogen ice cream as well as vendors and organizations who will distribute information and candy as well as answers to questions from students.
