[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter a five year absence from the big screen a new “Harry Potter” sequel will finally hit theaters on Nov 18. Directed by David Yates, who was previously involved in several of the Potter films, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to find Them” is a continuation in the world of magic. Taking place in 1926 New York years before the era of Harry Potter, the film captures the wizard world and the dangers that come with it.

Based off a J.K. Rowling novel just like the former Harry Potter titles, “Fantastic Beasts” introduces the story of Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist  (student of magical creatures) who is out to battle the dark forces of the magic world. Scamander posses a leather case with hidden dimensions that safeguards a large amount of magical creatures. But after a No-Maj (American for muggel) named Jacob accidently releases some of the creatures, Scamander must rush to recover them before terror strikes in the city.

With a great amount of support shown from the “Potter” fanbase in regards to the “Fantastic Beasts” trailer, Director of the film, David Yates announced that a follow up to the movie will be released in the coming years. Also revealing that famous Harry Potter character “Dumbledore” will be making a return in the “Fantastic Beasts” series.
