Halloween Costumes Made Easy

Halloween Costumes Made Easy

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ctober 2016 has finally rolled around which calls for all things scary and spooky. Who says you have to spend a boat load of cash on a costume for one night? Rather than tirelessly scan Google for DIY (Do it Yourself) costume ideas, here are three DIY ideas that scream originality and will save you a ton of money.

Bag-Jelly-Beans

Jelly Bean Bag

Here’s your chance to be a sweet treat with this bag of jelly beans costume. This look requires a clear trash bag, scissors, colored balloons, and a ribbon. Begin by cutting holes for your arms and legs to fit through. Then, print or write out the nutritional facts on the back of the costume, just like what you see on the backs of candy bags. Lastly, it’s time to fill up the bag with colored balloons for the jellybeans, and tie up the trash bag near your neck with a ribbon.

mummy

Mummy Monster

This costume can be created with the simplest item in your house, toilet paper! All you need to do is put on white clothes and roll some toilet paper around you. Be sure to cover your entire body. Add some ketchup, red food coloring, or imitation blood for a gory effect.

mime

Mime

This mime costume is the perfect opportunity to give your voice a break for the night. Make your way to your local Halloween or craft store to pick up some white face paint that you will use to paint your face. Wear black clothes or a striped white and black top to complete the costume. If you are feeling a bit fancy, pair this look with white gloves or a hat. Lastly, give your voice a break for the night and express yourself using actions for a night of fun.
