[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hether you are fashion forward in floral, or keeping up with kimonos, being in style this spring is a must! In the world of fashion, being a season ahead is a must, so we are peaking into March’s spring lines!
By window shopping at the mall, and seeing an exclusive look of the spring line at Express, it looks like the flowing flower style is blooming this season. Highlighter colors are coming back as well; so, put the black sweaters away and break out the neon pink tanks! That’s right! Go look on the shelves of retail stores (or in your parents’ closets) because these colors are slowly coming back in. I’m frankly amazed they made the cut at all.
Even though the spring fashion is pushing through the harsh winds of Florida’s delayed winters, here’s some tips to keep cool, calm, and look collected:

Layering is a huge must in these Florida bipolar weather surges. You may need a hoodie or a fashionable outerwear piece (i.e. a leather jacket, a dressy cardigan) to retain your body heat. But thanks to Florida, you don’t have to hide behind your jacket all day! Companies like American Eagle, Express, H&M, Forever 21, etc. are getting rid of their winter wear and pushing for those fab spring pieces as mentioned earlier. To keep up with style as well as being warm, floral has to be in your fashion agenda. Be sure to avoid a fashion faux pas and grab yourself a floral kimono, and pair it with cropped leggings and chunky sandals.
Places like H&M, Forever 21, and even Plato’s Closet offer great, cheap buys that could help mock everyday celeb looks. Cosmopolitan features Jennifer Lopez wearing a “slinky blue dress” (an electric blue at that) to the winter TCA tour. If J-Lo is wearing it, I want it.
Guys: shorts are back in stores so it is time to expose your leg hair and let it blow in the wind once more. Worldwide music artist Justin Bieber is presented on Vogue’s website, exemplifying that “winter wardrobe needn’t be drab.” The Biebs was even presented with a highlighter orange tee; so, why would you not want to have that “superstar finish” as reported by Vogue.
A big hit to copy Bieber’s looks can be found at H&M as well, where they have that simplistic look to their clothing. A modern twist to a simple $5 tee won’t break the bank and will be sure fire to maybe get some chicks to talk to you this spring.
Following trends doesn’t have to make you become broke. By shopping at some of the listed stores, you too could follow what’s expected this season, and maybe even start some trends of your own!
